Another installment of my embarrassing stories, told through audio! I guess you have to understand that when I was a child, I made up stories about everything and everyone. Every single time we went out to a restaurant, I would start up a little silverware melodrama: my fork was the leading man, my spoon the leading lady, and my knife was, of course, the villain. If I had a salad fork and soup spoon, they would be the wisecracking sidekicks who eventually fell in love. I don’t know if all kids do this, or if this is some fringe benefit of OCD or synesthesia, but I was really good at assigning personalities to inanimate objects.
Love this. I enjoyed listening to the Tasteless podcast too. You should definitely write a story about the two queens sneaking off together! Have you seen the series Gentleman Jack? It’s not about royalty as such but it’s set in the 1830’s in northern England and is based on real life. Anyway, check it out if you haven’t seen it. It’s fantastic and I highly recommend it. 👋 to your gorgeous cats!
